Forney Wheel Brushes Editorial Review
The Forney 72747 Wire Bench Wheel Brush is a well-made tool with properly fastened wires and a balanced wheel. The wires are fine crimped with a .008" wire size, which is the finest size available on the Forney website. However, there are some issues with the plastic bushing reducing the arbor size to 1/2 inch, that can cause issues and may break after a short period of time. It is recommended to only use this wheel on a 5/8 inch shaft as the bushing is not strong enough to withstand the pressure of a 1/2 inch shaft. Some customers had to use additional washers to fit the wheel properly on the arbor, and the narrow width of the wheel requires additional machine washers. Overall, it is Considered a great value for its price and perfect for rust cleaning.
