Answer: Hey, you can directly install the 49mm filter in the Fujifilm WCL-x100 Wide Conversion Lens without using this item. If you want to install this lens shade on this lens, it doesn't work with this lens. -

Answer: To complete the weather sealing you will also need to attach a 49mm filter to the adapter ring and then attach the hood itself. the adapter ring is threaded for both the filter and the hood. You can use a clear filter or a UV filter or any other 49mm filter. Hope this helps. -
