** Wooden Percussion 6" Cricket** The Wooden Percussion 6" Cricket has garnered a mixed reception from customers, with some praising its aesthetic appeal and craftsmanship, while others have voiced significant concerns regarding its performance and usability. On the positive side, many users appreciate the intricate carving of the product, highlighting its potential as a unique decorative piece in addition to being a musical instrument. Some customers have expressed satisfaction with the natural materials used in the Construction, making it an attractive gift option suitable for all ages. However, the criticism regarding the performance of the cricket instrument is noteworthy. Several reviews mention that the sound produced does not effectively mimic that of an actual cricket, with some likening it more to a ribbit sound typical of wooden frog instruments. Additionally, there are reports of unpleasant odors, specifically a gasoline-like smell that persisted even after attempts to clean the item. Issues with Consistency in craftsmanship have also surfaced, with complaints of splinters and a design that can be difficult to hold. In summary, while the Wooden Percussion Cricket may serve as an appealing gift and decorative object due to its design, potential buyers should be cautious of its functional shortcomings, particularly when it comes to sound quality and durability. **
