Answer: To de-mold your item easily, you can use mold release spray or mild soapy water. -

Can you make a tin layer on this with a test tube? Seems to take a lot of rasin if i fill up to cover the test tube throughly
Answer: I have never used the test tube mold, however with most molds you will need to layer the resin to achieve the depth of the mold. Even a single quarter-inch layer should be able to securely hold the test tube, but you would not be able to encapsulate much (as is shown) in such a thin layer. Unless you are making small jewelry items you will find molded resin is a very expensive medium due to the cost and amount needed.

Although some customers have reported that the molds come with some residue, making it difficult to clean, and some reported they received a used product instead of a new one, there are still some positive reviews. One customer made an exagon with their mother's picture and said the mold did not peel with their resin and was sturdy. Another customer reported doing their project in layers and it worked, but the mold wasn't thick enough in the most needed places, causing it to rip.
