Reviewers appreciate its affordability, especially for those venturing into larger cubes after mastering the basic 3x3 model. Many users have noted its lightweight design and smooth turning capabilities, which enhance the solving experience, making it particularly suitable for beginners. For those looking to advance their skills—especially transitioning from 5x5 to 8x8—the cube serves as a valuable educational tool, aiding in learning advanced methods like commutation. However, some negative experiences have also been reported. Concerns about quality control have surfaced, with a few reviewers citing issues such as difficulties in turning and pieces coming apart. Despite these critiques, many find the cube enjoyable and appreciate the design details. Overall, while some quality issues need addressing, the QY 8x8 offers good value and serves as a solid option for both novice and intermediate cubers. **
