The SMITH Unisex Survey MIPS Snow Sport Helmet has garnered a mixed reception from customers, showcasing strengths in comfort and insulation, but also significant criticism tied to its visor system and fit, particularly for glasses wearers. Many users appreciate the quality Construction and the benefits of the Integrated MIPS technology which enhances safety during snow sports. The helmet is particularly noteworthy for its photochromic lens feature, providing versatility by adapting to different light conditions. Several customers praised the helmet as "well-made," "comfortable," and insulated sufficiently for various weather conditions, notably during heavy snowfall, with reports of no leaks. One reviewer even noted its effectiveness in reducing fogging compared to traditional goggles, which can be a significant advantage for ski enthusiasts who wear glasses. However, the positive sentiments clash with notable criticisms, especially regarding the flip lens system. A significant portion of customers mentioned the difficulty of fitting glasses under the helmet, leading to frustration regarding the visor’s functionality. Users reported that the lenses did not clear the field of vision adequately, and others experienced issues with lenses failing to stay up when retracted. The conflicting feedback points to a sizing dilemma, where those who up-sized the helmet to accommodate glasses often found the fit compromised, undermining the helmet's safety features. Despite some users finding satisfaction with their purchase, the overall sentiment indicates that potential buyers, especially those who wear glasses, would be wise to Consider other options. **
