Will this model vs the xt8000efi be more reliable?
Answer: I have XT8500EFI model and it took me more than two month to fix those problems with it(missing legs, missing fuel pump and bad battery) I do not recommend this brand, because I am the only one with that kind of problem -

After cutting the disconnect off, can this generator run lights, refrigerators by back feeding the panel in your house?
Answer: You need a UL approved, competent person installed interlock kit. I had this installed, and I can power my entire house. -
Question:
Is this 220?
Answer: Yes, 240 and 120. Has multiple outlets. -

Can it power my AC & heat?
Answer: The size of the generator needed is dictated by the power requirements of all of the items you want to run. We recommend working with an authorized Generac dealer to determine the generator size that would best suit your needs. Can two of these units be paired together for increased output?
Answer: No -

What is the decibel rating?
Answer: Because there is no industry standard way to measure sound output on portable products it makes it very hard to compare brand to brand. Generac does not list the specific decibel level for our portable products for this reason. This is an open engine similar to a lawn mower so it does not run as quiet as our automatic home standby generators, is comparable if not quieter than most other brands. -
Question:
Should non-ethanol gasoline be used?
Answer: I am using regular gas with a fuel stabilizer. It should be good in the tank for 2 years. -

Does the generator have a 30 amp plug
Answer: Yes -
Question:
Are you able to pull start this in the event the battery for the electric starter is dead?
Answer: Yes it has a pull start also
