The Arctic P8 is a high-quality, easy-to-install fan that moves a lot of air and operates quietly. The screws that come with the fan are self-tapping and easy to install but do not include a 3-pin to molex adapter. To run the fan outside of a computer application, an AC to DC 12v & 5v 4 pin molex 2A adaptor and a fan controller with the number of channels required for the application is needed. The fan provides feedback to the motherboard and its speed can be controlled by the motherboard.
