They are not re-writable, and have a file size limit of 50GB so users should ensure the source files are less than 50GB or buy more discs. There is only one recordable side, and the dual layer refers to the ability to record twice as much as regular discs. The discs are suitable for most Blu-ray writers and burners, including LG WH14NS40, and have produced perfect backups for users so far. They are good value for money and are built solidly. The disc surface can be written on with permanent markers, however, not all pens are suitable (Sharpies are not recommended).
