    Answer: A liner is always a nice touch, and dependant on consistency of mixture will prevent leakage. Although non-stick remember to lightly oil, this will not only ensure quick release but give longevity to your cake tin!

    Answer: The Chef Aid Bakeware range is made of coated metal. If every care is taken to ensure that the tin is thoroughly dried - recommend placing in a cooling down oven ideal to ensure all edges dry out too. Store in a dry area free of condensation will preserve the coating and keep your bakeware in good condition.
  • Question: Why does my label for this item say handwash only. is its supposed to be dishwasher safe?

    Answer: The tins are dishwasher safe but in order to preserve the coating it is best to handwash. Our non stick is so amazing that handwashing will not be difficult. The reason we state this is that it is actually the drying time in the dishwasher that is corrosive. If you remove the product immediately when the dishwasher cycle has finished then there will be no problem.
  • Question: Is it 20 cm?

    Answer: No, its 19cm. It says so on the big cardboard packaging stuck to the bottom. 19cm inside diameter. 20cm outside diameter, not including the spring clip.
  • Question: Size of cake tin - width please

    Answer: They make these in different sizes. The one I bought is a nominal 12 cm diameter. This is the outside diameter, it is a touch under 11.5 Internal diameter.
  • Question: Can someone please tell me how deep this is in inches?

    Answer: 2.5 inches or 6.5 centimeters
