Answer: Yes, it includes 4 racks to hold the tiles. They are not perfect as they are a simple 'L' shape, so the tiles could fall out if you tilt the rack the wrong way. But they do the job. They also help you line up the tiles on the walls when you build them at the start of the game. -

Answer: I used to play in a mahjong club and the size of this set was pretty standard. I do have a vintage set for sale if you are interested, bought in Peking in the 1930s, it's the same size, bone and bamboo with exquisite hand-carved pieces. -

Answer: The only difference is the color. The Club set is brown while this one is black. -

Answer: On my set not bought from this site, the tiles are 2.6cm high, 2cm wide, and 1.2cm deep. The set I bought that you are looking at is no different. It is a truly lovely set and has been played often. It comes beautifully packaged. You will not regret it, I can assure you.

The case is sturdy and well-made, making it easy to transport the set to wherever you want to play mahjong. While there have been some reports of issues with the case's handle tearing away from the casing, Jaques of London has been responsive in replacing the case. There have also been a few reports of the cardboard backing on the racks and case showing signs of ungluing. Some customers have made their own wooden racks to build the wall and display their hand. The tiles themselves are thick and heavy, making them a pleasure to play with, and the sets are beautifully packaged, making them an excellent gift option.
